Thank you to all that attended and wish they could have attended our dojo picnic. We had roughly 200 students, family members and guests! July was by far our busiest month for events. You could say we are slowing it down a bit for August, but that depends on your definition of slowing down. A few music events, a booth at the Art in the Forest, a Kubaton class and a Tournament in Seattle. Check out some demo team video below…

Ninja Nights, Parents Night Out, Grand Opening Parties, Tournaments, China Trip, Dojo Picnic, Fairs and Festivals. We will keep you busy through the Summer!

May 9th West Linn Parents Night Out
Drop the kiddes at the dojo and enjoy some time out. We provide the movie, pizza and drinks all for $5. Yes, FIVE DOLLARS! Family and friends are also invited to attend. The movies will be shown by projector courtesy of our friends at SMILE LINN DENTAL.
When: May 9th
Where: The West LInn Dojo
Time: 6pm-9pm

May 16th Sherwood Ninja Night
Parents, leave the kids in a safe environment while you go out and have some fun! We provide pizza, drinks, games and movies. Space is limited so call Ms. Liz today at the Sherwood dojo to sign up.
When: May 16th
Where: Sherwood Dojo
Time: 6pm – 8am
Cost: $50.00 per child

July 25th Dojo Picnic
Join us July 25th for the USSD picnic. Meet students from our West Linn, Sherwood and Beaverton dojos. The picnic will once again be at Willamette Park in West Linn. We ask that everyone bring a side dish to share, we provide the hamburger and hotdogs. We look forward to seeing everybody there.

June 27th Beaverton Grand Opening
We will have our GRAND OPENING PARTY for the Beaverton dojo on Saturday, June 27th from 10am-3pm. We will have a bounce house, refreshments, demos and great sign up specials for new students! Both West Linn and Sherwood will be closed that day. We encourage all students to show up and show your support!

Master Black Back In Oregon

Master’s Class March 14 at the Beaverton Dojo.

Master Richard Black, Vice President of Undited Studios and 7th degree black belt will be teaching a class at the Beaverton Dojo on March 14th.

Oregon Martial Arts and Self Defense Events for February 2009

February is the shortest month of the calendar year so we have tried to pack in as much activity as we can. Come and check out our new Dojo in Beaverton on the 6th, learn to defend yourself on the 7th at the FREE “Women’s Self Defense Class” in West Linn or take the night off on the 28th and drop the kids off for Ninja Night in West Linn.

Women’s Self Defense Class

Tomorrow, January 26, 2009 marks the year 4707 on the traditional Chinese calendar. 2009 is the “The Year of the Ox” according to infoplease.com and ancient Chinese legend Buddha asked all the animals to meet him on Chinese New Year. Twelve came, and Buddha named a year after each one. He announced that the people born in each animal’s year would have some of that animal’s personality. Those born in ox years tend to be painters, engineers, and architects. They are stable, fearless, obstinate, hard-working and friendly.

USSD Oregon Holiday Potluck

Thanks to everyone who participated in this years Holiday Potluck at the West Linn and Sherwood Dojo’s. As always there was excellent food and fellowship, it is always fun meet and eat with our members extended families.

Thanks again for making our 2008 Holiday Potluck an enormous success, see you next year.
